Senior Cloud Architect

Design, optimize, and maintain scalable cloud architectures, ensuring high performance and security across a diverse set of technology platforms and business needs

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement complex cloud solutions aligning with organizational goals
  • Lead cloud migration projects and ensure minimal downtime and disruption
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Establish best practices and security standards for multi-cloud or hybrid environments
  • Conduct performance tuning and cost optimization across cloud services
  • Evaluate new cloud technologies and make data-driven recommendations
  • Mentor cross-functional teams on cloud-native design principles
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal governance frameworks

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices
  • Strong understanding of security, networking, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
  • Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex cloud strategies into actionable roadmaps
  • Track record of implementing cost-effective cloud migrations at scale

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional certifications
  • Knowledge of serverless frameworks, edge computing, or big data solutions
  • Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, GDPR)
  • Experience with AI/ML pipelines in cloud environments
  • Prior role in a high-growth, technology-driven organization
