Senior Medical Doctor - General Medical Science

Provide advanced clinical oversight, diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, and lead interdisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and manage treatment plans across diverse medical conditions
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
  • Review and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies, to inform clinical decisions
  • Lead clinical rounds, case discussions, and teaching sessions for medical residents or junior doctors
  • Implement and uphold best practices in clinical protocols, patient safety, and infection control
  • Provide guidance on complex or unusual cases, leveraging expertise in evidence-based medicine
  • Maintain accurate medical records, adhering to confidentiality and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Serve as a key contributor to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects where applicable

Required Skills

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • 7+ years of post-residency experience in general medicine or related field
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical documentation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
