Senior Video Editor
Lead the end-to-end video editing process, guiding junior editors and delivering high-quality visual content aligned with the company’s brand and storytelling objectives
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with producers and creative teams to plan and structure video projects
- Assemble and edit raw footage into polished video segments, ensuring consistent style and pacing
- Implement advanced post-production techniques, including color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics
- Manage multiple projects, maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines
- Oversee asset organization, media management, and archiving to ensure efficient workflows
- Integrate feedback from stakeholders, iterating to achieve final approvals
- Mentor junior editors, providing training on best practices and editing software
- Stay up-to-date with emerging video formats, editing trends, and production tools
Required Skills
- 5+ years of video editing experience in a professional environment
- Expert proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Strong understanding of color correction, audio mixing, and video compositing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality
- Excellent storytelling, pacing, and narrative sense
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and a creative approach to video problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or related field
- Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects, Cinema 4D)
