Senior AI/ML Engineer (PhD Required)

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end machine learning projects, from problem definition to model deployment
  • Apply cutting-edge research methods in AI/ML to develop high-impact solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, product, R&D) to integrate ML models into products or platforms
  • Continuously evaluate and improve model performance using experimentation, A/B testing, and advanced analytics
  • Mentor and guide junior ML engineers, ensuring rigorous code and model quality standards
  • Stay updated on emerging AI/ML frameworks, tools, and research publications
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations across model lifecycles
  • Present technical findings to stakeholders, translating complex algorithms into actionable insights

Required Skills

  • Doctorate (PhD) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models at scale
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, C++, etc.) and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
  • Strong understanding of algorithmic complexity, data structures, and advanced math (linear algebra, calculus, statistics)
  • Track record of published research in AI/ML (journals, conferences, or patents)
  • Experience with cloud-based ML environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in a multi-disciplinary environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with deep learning architectures (CNN, RNN, Transformers) for computer vision or NLP
  • Familiarity with MLOps pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD for ML)
  • Knowledge of resource-based token economies or advanced financial applications
  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or frameworks
