Doctor of Director of Data Science and Analysis
Lead and optimize data science initiatives at a strategic level, leveraging advanced analytical methodologies to drive innovation, business insights, and organizational growth
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term data science roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver impactful insights
- Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions
- Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize projects and ensure data strategies meet business needs
- Advocate for data governance best practices, including data quality, ethics, and security
- Review and approve research methodologies, ensuring cutting-edge techniques and accurate model validation
- Establish metrics, KPIs, and reporting structures to measure and communicate analytics performance
- Stay current with emerging trends in AI, big data, and advanced analytics to drive continuous innovation
Required Skills
- PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in data science or analytics roles
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale data initiatives and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in data engineering, statistical modeling, and machine learning frameworks
- Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and familiarity with big data platforms
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Track record of publishing or presenting complex data findings to diverse audiences
